Photographing Active Manufacturing Operations
Manufacturing facilities are not easy places to photograph. There is active machinery, there are safety requirements, shift schedules to work around, and proprietary processes that need to stay protected. We take all of that seriously before we ever show up on site.
Our process starts well before the shoot day. We coordinate with your plant manager or marketing team to understand the facility layout, figure out the best windows for shooting, go over safety protocols, and build a shot list that reflects what you actually need. On site we work efficiently and stay out of the way of your team. We are well-versed in OSHA safety standards and bring our own PPE. If certain areas or processes are off limits, we plan around that from the start. Protecting your operation and your trade secrets is part of the job.

How a Manufacturing Photography Shoot Works
Pre-Production Planning. Every project starts with a planning conversation. We go over your goals, your facility, your shot list priorities, and any safety requirements before anything is scheduled. This keeps the shoot day focused and makes sure the final images are actually useful for your marketing team.
Safety Briefing and Facility Coordination. We coordinate with your plant manager or operations contact to handle any required safety orientations, access procedures, and scheduling around active production. PPE requirements, restricted zones, and shift windows are all confirmed in advance.
On-Site Photography. On shoot day we work efficiently without disrupting your operation. The goal is to be invisible to your production team while getting the images that show your capabilities at their best.
Post-Production and Delivery. Images are retouched and color-corrected to a consistent standard and delivered in an organized file structure with web, print, and social media formats. Most projects are delivered within five to seven business days.
